Building Immunity - Flushing the System
By Jan Verhoeff Platinum Quality Author

There's nothing like a cup of hot lemon juice first thing in the morning! Yum.

Ooops, no sugar in that lemonade?

Well... Okay. Sounds like a challenge, but it works. Over winter I was under a lot of stress, and it's beginning to subside, but the result is I'm feeling a bit 'under the weather'. So, today, I was looking for a cure, and the lady at the health food store reminded me of a tip I got several years ago.

You need your sunshine.

First thing in the morning, a cup of HOT water and the juice of one lemon, or you can puree a whole lemon and add it to your hot water for a fiber rich detoxification drink that builds your immune system. Yes, it will make you pucker, and when it works, by reducing stress, improving your body chemistry, and making you feel better, it'll make you kissable too.

Now, the trick is, we should be doing this for five days every month. But, if you're not doing it yet, kick start your immunity building, system flushing, daily habit by doing this for two weeks the first month. It'll activate all those body parts you don't normally want to discuss, so you won't have to discuss them.

And... If you're older than dirt (anyone over 30 - according to my 11 year old son) you might help the process along with one olive leaf extract and ara-larix tablet every morning and every night during those first two weeks, following with one a day to keep your body's immune system going strong.

As the song goes, put a little sunshine (read lemon) in your morning...

I wonder if he'll get over that dirt notion as he gets closer to 30?
